I see it happen all the time. A VAR creates a custom solution for their customers because they can’t find anything that really accomplishes what they are trying to implement.  Occasionally this leads to a new tech company being spun out.

This is the case with OS33; they offer MSPs a robust cloud computing IT delivery automation platform” or CCITDAP, pronounced, “sit-dap” (No, I’m just kidding, that’s not a real acronym. But we really do need more acronyms in this industry so it may just catch on. Anyway, I digress.)

The OS33 solution is completely turnkey. They provide all of the infrastructure and apps, and the MSP simply sells and deploys from a centralized console.

But what I found interesting is how they deploy their VDI solution. Rather than Desktop replication, they use a Webtop.

Now the Webtop has been discussed and written about for a very long time.  Usually it is promoted as a competitive alternative to Microsoft. But a VDI delivered Webtop offers the best of both worlds.  It delivers all of your cloud applications, and your MS Office, Exchange, and other Windows applications in the same workspace.

OS33 provides MSPs with all of the tools necessary to sell.  Quoting tools, recommended margins (50%), marketing materials, private label branding, etc.

If you are an MSP looking for a unique cloud based solution for your customers, I recommend checking out OS33.
